Boarding with Enzo – naks! ;))

Woot, finally, we were able to drop by The Show yesterday! Since Enzo was still alone when we arrived, Dru and I became instant jocks! LOL! ;) )

Anyways, we had a super great time!!!! I answered most of the calls from the Monster Hotline and I really enjoyed talking to the people who called. Some were even like, “Wow, ikaw pala si Astroboy!” Hihi! Oh and some even thought that I actually work at RX! HAHA! Syempre, I jotted down their requests and greetings! Yes, super karir sa pagiging DJ! Lol! Super aliw, especially when we tried out the headset and answered questions for Topic Traffic.

But what made me super smile was one caller who said that I sound like Cesca Litton! Okay so all I know about her is that she’s a courtside reporter, but what the hell! Waaaa kilig! Hahahaha! And that caller’s brother messaged me on Facebook and also said that I do sound like Cesca Litton! Awww man, music to my ears lol ;) )

And then of course, the off air talk – YUN YUN EH! =)) Fun, fun, fun talaga!

I want to do this again! lol ;) ) Kahit taga-sagot lang ng Hotline, happy na ako! ^-^ Thanks, Enzo for giving us the opportunity to be DJs even for a few hours lang! Saya-saya! =)

wahahaha just went on air on Jumpstart for Ask-Abert – a segment where you ask Albert of Radio One anything =)

Kinikilig ako hahaha! I asked him what was the most memorable moment/encounter he had with an RX listener and he answered that actual moment daw na someone actually wants to ask him a question hahaha!

Ok fine, he’s part of THE list na hehe! ;) )

Great RIOT Wednesday – More Energy, Mas Happy! :))

Grabe. This is one of the best Wednesdays of my RX Life. Hahaha OA? Nah, ang ganda lang kasi talaga ng araw na ito for me.

For those who do not know, RX 93.1 plays the best of the 80s, 90s and early 2000s every Wednesday. They call it the Monster’s Riot. Before, when they still played the best of the 70s, I didn’t appreciate the Riot much. But since a lot of the songs on their Riot playlist are now familiar, I always look forward to the Riot na.

Anyways, my great Riot Wednesday started at 3am this morning because of The Show, during which, Enzo did a solo flight because Andre’s sick (like me! get well soon to us!). Enzo instantly played my request – The Backstreetboys’ Get Down. Yeah, I’m a sucker for boy bands. Aminin niyo, kayo rin haha =))

At 6am, The Morning Rush ushered in the Top Ten Things To Say To Someone Who Says, “Please, let me go.” My request wasn’t played, but Delle said my entry was witty so super happy pa rin ako. Plus, Chico did a great job of choosing songs related to the topic! Nakakaiyak, lalo na yung “If I’m Not In Love With You.” Namaaaaan. Medyo na-depress pa ako when I didn’t get to win the Enervon promo! Hahaha! Paano ba naman, iisa lang yung nanalo sa Enervon and Goldilocks promo! Masuwerte siya si Chico ang nag-handle nun. Malamang pag si Delle, hindi siya papayag because she’s stricter pagdating sa promos.

Now the mushiness continued on The Ride. People (Gelli, included) were commenting about the songs Jude was playing – a fellow Rusher, Hunter Lizzie, even asked to ban playing “Separate Lives” hahaha! Pero bumawi si Jude, he played a lot of cool dance songs towards the end of their show.

Since it’s a Wednesday, The Daily Survey transforms into Mixed Tape. They have this really cool segment called “Corny Corner” wherein…well, corny songs are played. I forgot what was the first song played, but I was pleasantly surprised when Christi announced that the last corny song was requested by…yours truly hehe =D Louie was pretending to discontinue playing the song pa nga, probably because he thinks its extra corny hahaha But he did play it – “Shalalalala” by the Venga Boys. Wahahaha Gino was dancing pa nga raw hahaha!  I requested this a few weeks back…Aside from being a pleasantly corny song, what made me really happy was the reaction of a lot of listeners (even those who I do not know haha)! They were thanking me for requesting the song hahaha Ang saya naman kasi talaga siyang pakinggan albeit corny =D

But wait, there’s more! I requested for The Moffatts’ “I’ll Be There For You” and Gino played it yey! And yey! I won the Enervon promo na! Wootwoo! I’m not sure how many, but I think I won at least two movie passes to any Ayala Mall. Hehe. Btw, if you have a Twitter account, please follow Gino Quillamor HERE. Kahit until Monday lang please? At kahit hindi niyo siya kilala, basta follow niyo muna kahit temporarily lang!!! Hehe!

So there. Super great Riot Wednesday talaga albeit me fighting flu. A REGULAR FLU OKAY?! Hindi ito swine flu, promise. =D

At last, the weekend! :)

Had a fun day today. The [weird] Morning Rush was great! JAGS=Jolly, Albert, Gino and Suzie=riot! Parang party lang on air! And then I had 5 entries for the Top Ten Titles for a Chico and Delle Movie:

^was actually surprised that Gino chose my entry to be #1 during the last batch.  Hehe =) I think Gino’s my lucky charm when it comes to the Top Ten because almost every time he boards, I get to have a #1 entry! He was also on board when I made it to #1 in all top half batches. Cool =) Oh and thank you to all those who included me in their greetings! 3 or 4 people yata greeted, cool =) And then tomorrow Jolly and Gino will be boarding again! Yey! They will be doing another Top Ten =)

Another thing which made my day today is having lunch with some of the Rushers who are part of the “Makati Chapter” haha =D Pictures can be viewed HERE.

I can’t wait for tomorrow because aside from TMR, I will be bonding with my Morato cousins again! Yey! Being with my cousins and relatives from my mom’s side is soooo colorful and noisy and fun hehe. I’m not saying my dad’s side is boring ha! Haha. Mas marami kasi kami sa side ni Mama. I have 3 aunts who are all married, 6 uncles na isa lang walang asawa, 24 cousins (and then add my 2 siblings so 27 kaming magpipinsan) and finally, 10 pamangkins (children of 6 cousins so add 6 more to represent the wives/husbands of these cousins). O di ba, sinong hindi sasaya nun?! Compared to our dad’s side … 2 grandparents, 1 unmarried aunt, 5 uncles (one is in the US pa oh and my dad), 13 cousins (2 are in the US)…so there. haha =D
