2017 Project 365, Day 187: Fun Interview!

Photo #187: July 6

No matter what I’m going through, I still do my best to accept help requests from students who need to complete their academic requirements, especially because the graduating year is always the toughest! Thanks for the fun interview, “Tishie Pie” and your OLOPSC classmates! 😀 And of course, thanks to Mandi’s Grill Grub for accommodating us!

2017 Project 365, Day 27: Speaker at JRU

Photo #27: January 27

When I created my WordPress blog in 2008, I simply wanted to comment on other blogs. Blogging is my first love, which later paved the way to vlogging. I’m glad to have shared my story and some tips to the senior high students of José Rizal University! Thank you!

2016 Project 365, Day 78: 700 Strong!

Photo #78: March 18

One of my silent birthday wishes this March came true: get at least 700 likes for What the F before March 20! Thank you to my family, relatives, friends, and even strangers who have already liked it! I know 700 is nothing compared to many pages, but considering the fact that I have never used FB’s sponsored post feature, I think the page is doing well for a relative beginner.

2016 Project 365, Day 44: Foozap Blog

Photo #44: February 13

Kilig before Valentine’s Day! ❤ First time to write something online with a short description of myself! Haha! Check out my article about Ippudo Philippines‘ tsukemen and Drew’s list of craft beer recommendations on the Foozap blog! 🙂

2016 Project 365, Day 31: Born to Blog

Photo #31: January 31

Decided to enjoy the last day of the month and rest in preparation for a bloody February at work… just kidding, but I’ll be a little busier because of some stricter rules. Anyway, I bought this shirt earlier!!! Weeeee I was like, “THAT IS SO ME!” 🙂 I already have a “uniform” for blogging events… hahaha! :p

2016 Project 365, Day 26: Blogging Feedback

Photo #26: January 26

Yesterday’s SMS exchange with the owner of Mandi’s Grill Grub… I really love it whenever people try a restaurant because of what I write! 🙂 Here’s my feature on MGG. 🙂 My vlog is also embedded in that entry. Thank you so much for supporting What the F! ❤

Thank You, 2015!

In the Philippines, once the -ber months arrive, time seems to be on fast forward mode, and come January, I always say, “Mamaya, Pasko na naman!” (Before we know it, it’s going to be Christmas again!) I’ve been writing year-end blog posts since 2 or 3 years ago, focusing on monthly highlights. This year, however, I’d like to focus on giving thanks.

First, thank you to all the foodie invites I received this year! I started this blog simply to comment on other WordPress blogs, which then became an avenue for my Project 365 (I’ve completed my 6th set!), and now, I even write food/restaurant reviews. 2015 is definitely my breakout year as a blogger, with greatly improved stats, particularly the blog views, which tripled in number compared to last year’s 20 thousand: 66k views! Which then leads to…

…thanking my blog readers/followers! The Philippines and the US are the top countries, but I would specially like to thank those from Japan because a lot of them are most likely my students from Rare Job! ❤

Ahhhh, Rare Job. How do I begin thanking you? Thank you for being such a good company to work for. I may be an independent contractor, but you guys make all tutors feel like being part of a huge family! Thank you for the fun tutor gatherings, useful workshops, and the awesome opportunity to give chances for everyone, everywhere!

Thank you as well to ABS-CBN’s Chicken Pork Adobo Network, particularly to my network manager, former UAAP courtside reporter for the UP Fighting Maroons, Michelle Sarthou! I never thought creating vlogs could be so much fun! Thank you for this opportunity of sharing my mostly food adventures to a wider audience!  Oh, if you haven’t subscribed to my YouTube channel, please do! 😀

Thank you of course to my family and friends who have been supporting my new career as a YouTuber! Thank you for all the cameos and suggestions, as well as for appreciating all my food recommendations, particularly when it comes to Marikina restaurants! Many thanks as well to new found friends, especially fellow food bloggers! Looking forward to having more gastronomic adventures with you!

And speaking of Marikina restaurants, I would also like to thank the wonderful owners who have become my friends, even like a second family. Special shout-outs to Tito Joy of Mandi’s Grill Grub, Tito Alvin of Tokyo Tempura, Ms. Aya of Bronze’s Shabu Shabu, and Karen of Yohel’s Bagnet Station!

Lastly, I would like to thank my dear boyfriend, Leo. Thank you for your patience, time, and love! 5 years, 5 months, 8 days, and counting. I love you! ❤
