2019 Project 365, Day 49: Mee Goreng Mamak

2019 Project 365, Day 10: KFC Cracklings

In case you haven’t heard yet, KFC now offers “cracklings,” a.k.a. chicken skin! They come in regular, large, and extra large serving sizes. Each piece is crunchy and flavorful (original recipe), but KFC only provides gravy, not spicy vinegar, which is the best partner, IMO. Will I order it again? Sure, but overall, nothing beats the street-style fried chicken skin, which you can get at a much cheaper price.

2018 Project 365 Day 258: Goreng Goreng Delivery

I have new favorites from Goreng Goreng: sambal kacang (peanuts & anchovies) and ikan kari (fish in curry and coconut milk). I can’t believe it took me over a year before discovering how good they are ugh! 

p.s. I miss dining at the actual store, but it’s also more filling to just cook rice at home HAHAHAHA thank you for being available for delivery despite the storm, guys! Love youuu! Next time, kang-kong, please!!!
