2019 Project 365, Day 112: Aglio Olio

Photo #112: April 22

Didn’t have any capers, so ended up with tuna-mushroom aglio olio instead of my favorite puttanesca. Its aroma is enough to make my mouth water, hehe. Garlic ftw! Not bad at all!ย

2019 Project 365, Day 56: Valentine Gifts

Photo #56: February 25

Hot honey and Elizabeth Arden’s White Tea perfume!!! The former is much spicier than Gino’s Brick Oven Pizza’s, while the latter is now my favorite scent! Thank you to my valentine for 9 years! Love you,ย Leo!ย ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜

2018 Project 365, Day 132: Spicy Fried Rice

Photo #132: May 12

Garlic, mushrooms, teriyaki Spam, scrambled eggs, hot sauce, and chili flakes. My sustenance for a few days since I will be busy working and doing chores in preparation for something big in June! ๐Ÿ˜€

2017 Project 365, Day 354: Hainan Chicken Rice

Photo #354: December 20

Chanced upon Hainan Chicken Rice on Instagram a few weeks back, and I’m so glad I tried this! The rice alone is heaven sent! Even without the three sauces (chili, garlic ginger, soy glaze), everything is absolutely delicious! Follow them on Instagram, and make sure to get post notifications as they’re only available every few weeks or so!

2017 Project 365, Day 296: Tuyo Pasta

Photo #296: October 23

Found time to do some cooking! I usedย Herb’s N Spice‘s tuyo flakes, given to me by Ritche! I added lots of garlic, lemon juice & zest, and some chili flakes for added heat. It’s salty, so next time, I’ll add more pasta hehe ๐Ÿ˜€

2016 Project 365, Day 305: Last Meal for October

Photo #305: October 31

Celebrating my 2nd month of reaching 500 lessons, thanks to my favorite restaurant along Lilac Street in Marikina, Mandi’s Grill Grub! On the plate: flavorful chicken inasal, sinfully good sisig rice, and yummy pancit with crunchy liempo! I already have sustenance for the first few days of November, also thanks to my ever so kind and thoughtful MGG family! ย

2016 Project 365, Day 50: Crispy Pork Chop from Mandi’s

Photo #50: February 19

I had lunch at Mandi’s Grill Grub to taste something for an upcoming project, and Tito Joy, the very nice owner, mentioned that he also plans to experiment on pork chops. I suggested something, but I didn’t expect them to deliver within the same day! Haha! So yeah, for dinner, I had this crispy pork chop with roasted sesame sauce and potato salad. Better visit them this weekend since they have limited pork chops available! ๐Ÿ™‚ย That’s another thing I really love about Mandi’s – they welcome food challenges! ๐Ÿ˜€ย Burp!
