Absent student (informed): enough time to cook this simple but yummy omelette with cheese and jalapeño slices. 😋🤤🍳🌶

2019 Project 365, Day 148: Sardine Pasta

Spicy angel hair sardine pasta, anyone? 🐟 The garlic got a bit toasted, but overall, I am satisfied with what I did, hehe! Spicy, garlicky, yummy! 🌶 Wish I had some lemon juice, though! 🍋 Dig in! 😋

2017 Project 365, Day 326: Omelette au Fromage

Photo #326: November 22

I’m no chef, but I could make a mean omelette au fromage (du fromage? Dexter!! haha) if I put extra effort into cooking.  Nothing fancy here, just some eggs with a bit of dried basil, some salt & pepper, and lots of quick melt cheese. Bon appétit!

2017 Project 365, Day 297: Chopsuey

Photo #297: October 24

Found some time to cook again! It’s my first time to do so for 2 consecutive days! Nothing special’s happening; it’s just that the last week of a month is usually my most relaxed. Anyway, this is my first time to cook chopsuey, and I am quite happy with how it turned out! I cheated a bit by using ready-to-cook veggies – those that are already cut and packed hehehe! Plus lots of garlic & onion, a chicken broth cube, some soy sauce, and a bit of salt, pepper, & chili flakes. So fragrant!!! Dig in!

2017 Project 365, Day 172: Spaghetti

Photo #172: June 21

During my last trip to the supermarket, I received a “birthday pack” – spaghetti and Filipino style sauce. Since I will be eating out this weekend and next week, I decided to cook them even though I dislike sweet spaghetti sauce (save for Jollibee’s lol). However, I didn’t have any hotdogs, so I used Spam (less sodium). To neutralize the sweetness, I also mixed in capers, dried basil, and black pepper. The result is not bad, but I will definitely not repeat this recipe. =p
