Of sayonaras, hajimemashites, and mata nes: today I said goodbye to my cousin & cousin-in-law who’ll be moving to Japan soon, and I also met another Japanese family who’s interested in letting their kids study in the Philippines, thanks to Sachiko-san’s experiences, which she shares online. My cousin Hexel and Sachiko-san met via Grab: he drove her to her home, and the rest is history. I’m a little sad, but I know it’s a good decision especially for my hafu nephew, Kirito-kun and niece, Kazumi-chan (hoping for her safe delivery this December). In addition, that’s another reason for me to visit Japan again, in Yokohama! Ganbatte, Hexel and Chiharu-chan!

Today marks the first time my Morato family (mom’s side) held a reunion at an events place, which also prompted us to be in formal wear! Organizing this was tough, but I’m proud of us, especially my cousins Pearl, Erika, Kuya Jojo, Ate Maricel, and Hexel for patiently doing so! Uragons!!!
p.s. ohmygosh this photo starts off my 10th set of Project 365 photos!!!!

Wrapping up my 9th set of project 365 photos with a grid showing my cousins and tonight’s early feast, which I will share with my sister. One of the highlights of 2018 is family-centered, so it’s only fitting that I spend it with them, or some of them, at least. Anyway, may you all have a great celebration and year ahead! Sa January 2 na lang yung year-end essay ko hahaha!
