One of my favorites at family reunions on my dad’s side: Uncle Rey’s daing na bangus (marinated milkfish)! With rice and spicy vinegar!!!

2018 Project 365, Day 320: Carinderia Viands

Photo #320: November 16

Nah, I didn’t cook any of the viands, just the rice. Went out for a short meeting, then dropped by a friendly neighborhood carenderia to buy these. I have food for 2 days or so.

2018 Project 365 Day 258: Goreng Goreng Delivery

Photo #258: September 15

I have new favorites from Goreng Goreng: sambal kacang (peanuts & anchovies) and ikan kari (fish in curry and coconut milk). I can’t believe it took me over a year before discovering how good they are ugh!

p.s. I miss dining at the actual store, but it’s also more filling to just cook rice at home HAHAHAHA thank you for being available for delivery despite the storm, guys! Love youuu! Next time, kang-kong, please!!!

Tonight’s dinner with the fambam! On the table: baked mussels, salmon belly sinigang, butter-garlic shrimp, pork sisig, blue marlin kinilaw, and garlic rice. Not in picture: baked oysters (too eager to eat hahaha). Guess how much!!!

2017 Project 365, Day 256: Pixie’s Relyenong Bangus

Photo #256: September 13

Because Cheena said so, I tried Pixie’s Sinugba Concepcion‘s relyenong bangus, and I’m glad I did! I don’t really like raisins mixed into savory food, but I’d gladly eat this again, but next time, I’ll do so with rice!!! 😀

2017 Project 365, Day 251: Pixie’s Sinugba Concepcion Marikina

Photo #251: September 8

Felt really tired and hungry after my adulting errands today, so I treated myself to this jumbo BONELESS grilled milkfish (bangus). I ate it without rice because I’ll be having unlimited Korean BBQ tomorrow night. Anyway, this is just P228! The fish has tomatoes, onions, and lemon grass, plus let me repeat, it’s BONELESS!!! Such a great deal, IMO. This Pixie’s Sinugba Concepcion branch is beside Puregold along Bayan-Bayanan.
