One of the new items on Mandi’s Grill Grub menu is camto tendon noodles, and my sister & I absolutely enjoyed it!!! I actually tried their camto soup with rice last week, but I prefer the one with noodles because the soup’s creamier! Perfect for the rainy season! ❤

Finally ate somewhere along Lilac Street with my family! Savored our last lunch together before tomorrow’s flight. On the table: crispy itik, laing, pork sinigang, grilled tuna belly, ginataang puso ng saging (banana blossom), pork sisig, grilled cheesy squid (super delish huhu), and garlic rice. Dunno when my folks and brother will visit again, but I think they got their fill of Filipino dishes. #bittersweet

My sister is a picky eater and rarely goes to buffets. However, she has a soft spot for Korean barbecue restaurants, so when she told me that she wanted to try Gui Gui Korean Grill along Lilac Street, who am I to refuse? Her target was to grill around 10 plates of beef, and we almost did: 8 plates, plus 1 plate of pork. All of us also enjoyed the buffet spread, particularly the shredded potatoes, pandan jelly, fried chicken, kimchi, and spicy fish cake. They no longer have an opening promo, so we paid P449 each, which we believe is still a good deal.
