Just a quick snap of our father’s day lunch. We opted not to go out because for sure, everywhere was/is still crowded. On the table: lumpiang shanghai, beef with broccoli, buttered chicken, and tofu with pork. Had these delivered from Foo Chow, one of the ever reliable food establishments near our house. Happy father’s day, papi!

A fully-packed 2nd day with the fambam! We visited some relatives, completed a few errands, and a lot more. I just had to go home earlier (alone huhu) because I have evening lessons! Anyway, here’s us enjoying an all-Filipino lunch! My brother said he would ignore anyone who’d invite him to American restaurants hahaha what a snob!

Third consecutive year of having Christmas eve lunch at our happy place:Mandi’s Grill Grub! On the table: salted egg seafood & corn, crispy kare-kare, and mussels with béchamel sauce. Good food all year round, thanks to our MGG family! ❤

As usual, so much food and fun with this bunch! I drank just one glass of sangria, but I felt like a happy, drunk kid hahaha! Love you, foodies! :-*

Haven’t had a complete family Christmas since 2006, the year our Papa migrated to the US (followed by our Mama and little brother in 2012), but that doesn’t stop me and my sister from enjoying the holidays. There is a void, yes, but it is lovingly filled by our supportive relatives and the family we choose – our closest friends. Cherish the time you have with your loved ones! Laugh, travel, sing, dance, eat together!
p.s. a special shoutout goes to Mandi’s Grill Grub, our extended family who always makes sure we’re alright, especially our tummies!

Lunch time well spent with my first circle of close #RareJob friends: from free trial tutors to recommended tutors to premium tutors! Also, this gathering is more special because we were graced by the presence of Tutor Mommyjane, who is one of our biggest inspirations when it comes to work-life balance and achieving a remarkable number of lesson slots! She once reached 700 in a month! 😀

I finally attended a Zomato foodie meet-up!!! I’ve been invited several times already, but due to unforeseen reasons, I wasn’t able to go. Watch out for my first vlog on a restaurant that is not in Marikina: King Bee Chinese Restaurant
p.s. I was pleasantly surprised when the Zomato people handed out loot bags labaled “WTF?” or “Where’s the food?”! Di ba!!! Perfect for my blog and YouTube channel – What the F! Meant to be! ❤
