2017 Project 365, Day 239: Goreng Goreng Marikina

This Sundate’s dinner: daging kacau doreng (beef), ayam goreng (chicken), nyonya laksa, iced teh tarik & teh o. Another awesome Marikina discovery: Goreng Goreng! Deliciously affordable Indonesian/Malaysian/Singaporean dishes – all these for P640. Can’t wait to bring my besties here!!! ❤

2017 Project 365, Day 116: Visitors in Marikina

Clingy friends decided to visit Marikina today, and we had a blast! We first had a feast at Mandi’s Grill Grub, then at Capriserrie Bakeshop and Café for dessert/coffee/tea. Our job isn’t perfect, but this support group makes it more bearable and fun! Looking forward to our next gathering! 🙂

2017 Project 365, Day 108: Spiced Spatula

Went on a BIR errand with one of my besties, and naturally, we were starving after! Decided to try Spiced Spatula, and we spent less than P500 on these, including drinks and some ice cream! So, Nikki, can we finish this???  (yes, we did!!!)

2017 Project 365, Day 106: Hungry Panda Food House Marikina

Happy Easter, happy eaters! Opted for a Chinese lunch with my loves as we tried Hungry Panda Food House Marikina. On the table: Yang Chow fried rice, buttered chicken, beef broccoli flower, and lechon kawali. My favorite’s the chicken, which looked dry, but was actually quite flavorful and had a nice crunch. I initially thought the beef broccoli was salty, but it got better as we munched on. The lechon kawali’s okay, but dry. We finished the rice! 3 hungry pandas, eh? We also loved their chili oil!!! I usually judge a Chinese restaurant by their chili oil, so good job, Hungry Panda! Great for groups! ^^

2017 Project 365, Day 102: Seafood Paella

Holy Week is usually a time for reflection, and at Mandi’s Grill Grub, they started thinking about their version of seafood paella! Their trials ended up in our tummies: regular and negra. I can’t wait for Mandi’s to include them in their menu!!!
