Because three of us have work today, Christmas Eve, we decided to do our tradition yesterday: have a hearty meal at our favorite Lilac Street resto: Mandi’s Grill Grub a.k.a. Kanto Ribs. On the table: beef adobo, crispy liempo, salmon, pork adobo, beef camto soup, sisig surprise, and BBQ! Happy holidays!

Lunch with the besties, plus our monthly nail salon visit. Excellent food, service, and company! ❤

I have new favorites from Goreng Goreng: sambal kacang (peanuts & anchovies) and ikan kari (fish in curry and coconut milk). I can’t believe it took me over a year before discovering how good they are ugh!
p.s. I miss dining at the actual store, but it’s also more filling to just cook rice at home HAHAHAHA thank you for being available for delivery despite the storm, guys! Love youuu! Next time, kang-kong, please!!!

Found time to visit my happy place along Lilac to eat some ribs. I feel emotional this week because of my least disliked aunt – Flow. On the other hand, that’s one thing I won’t have to worry about when I travel in 2 weeks!

Gave in to temptation and visited Tsokolate Et Al along Lilac Street (in front of Watsons, near the Rancho 1 gate). SWEETTOOTH/SNACK HAVEN!!!! Didn’t buy a lot, just some Oreo cheesecake cookies and butterscotch bars. 🙂

Meet-ups with the besties warrant delicious food, and of course, our happy place, Mandi’s Grill Grub, never fails to wow our tummies.
