2019 Project 365 Day 358: Matcha Triple Decker Cheesecake

Photo #358:: December 24

Me: I have classes until midnight, we can eat after.
My sister: Midnight pa tayo kakain?!
Me, realizing my hunger: Ay shet oo nga, sorry. Nap ka muna?
Sis: Kukutkot-kutkot ako…

Actually, I had a head start on our dessert: this uber yummy matcha ultimate triple decker cheesecake from Heart Baker by BiangFran!!! This has matcha cookies, Oreos, and white chocolate cake! SOBRANG SARAP! ❤️💚

2018 Project 365, Day 360: Christmas Gifts

Photo #360: December 26

My personal rule when it comes to Christmas gifts: if they’re wrapped or clearly not expiring anytime soon, then I will open them on the 25th or beyond. The same rule applies for birthday gifts, which I open on my actual birthday or after. I guess it’s because in my family, we were taught to open our presents when we get home from reunions. In addition, there’s a certain kind of satisfaction in seeing all of them together. Anyway, much love goes out to all who included me in their “nice” list hahahaha

2017 Project 365, Day 352: Christmas Gifts for Me!

First batch of Christmas gifts received! Thank you, my RareJob family!!!  I seriously want to open them already while waiting for the 26th tutor gathering vlog to finish rendering, but I know that my EQ is high, so I’ll start opening them next week (save for Nikki and Ernest’s gifts, which I opened during our staycation because they also opened my gifts for them haha). 😀

2016 Project 365, Day 359: Christmas Eve

Photo #359: December 24

Haven’t had a complete family Christmas since 2006, the year our Papa migrated to the US (followed by our Mama and little brother in 2012), but that doesn’t stop me and my sister from enjoying the holidays. There is a void, yes, but it is lovingly filled by our supportive relatives and the family we choose – our closest friends. Cherish the time you have with your loved ones! Laugh, travel, sing, dance, eat together!

p.s. a special shoutout goes to Mandi’s Grill Grub, our extended family who always makes sure we’re alright, especially our tummies!
