2019 Project 365, Day 12: Titans on Netflix

After watching episode 1, yeah, I think it was worth losing precious nap time.  I do not know anything about these characters, (well maybe just a little about “Robin”), but they seem much stronger than other superheroes, even from Marvel hehehe.

I’m such a coward, so I asked Leo to watch “The Haunting of Hill House” with me. We’ve watched 2 episodes so far, and WOW!!! Took a break to teach/nap, but we’re now ready to lose some sleep for this!!! Well, okay, maybe until episode 5 or until we finish a bottle of wine perhaps? We’ll see…

2018 Project 365 Day 249: My Hero Academia

Another reason why I love my young learners: their anime recommendations! A long time ago, I watched anime just as a form of entertainment. These days, however, I watched them because it’s another way of connecting with my beloved students, regardless of age. Anyway, “My Hero Academia” made me cry several times… it’s really nice when someone you look up to believes in you.

2018 Project 365, Day 202: The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

I have a renewed interest in anime because of having been a young learner tutor for a year and a half now. After finishing “Mob Psycho 100,” two of my children recommended “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.” since it is also about psychic abilities. Started watching it today, and I can’t wait to discuss it with my kids! 😀
