2018 Project 365, Day 17: Shizen Ramen x 3

Photo #17: January 17

Find friends who’d order individual bowls of ramen despite being surrounded by couples sharing only one! Spicy Yakuza for me, flavorful shoyu for Nikki, and meaty Beast for Ernest! Shizen Ramen in Marikina is definitely one of the best ramen shops for me!

2017 Project 365, Day 281: Shizen Ramen

Photo #281: October 8

Shizen Ramen has only 12 items on their menu, but quality is defnitely a priority here. They currently offer 5 kinds of ramen, and we tried their best-sellers: the beast and chashu. The latter’s broth is yummier (pork bone & sesame), but the former’s meat toppings are heftier, so they’re both winners in my book. We paired our ramen with their equally delicious gyoza and colorful kani salad. The salad’s good, but I prefer to have more cucumber than cabbage in it. Too bad, they ran out of matcha ice cream earlier, so I’m looking forward to visiting Shizen again! I’ve got my eyes on the Yakuza and shoyu ramen hehe!

2017 Project 365, Day 221: Kdrama and Ramen

Photo #221: August 9

Seeing more friends watching “Love in the Moonlight/Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” prompted me to resume watching it… I have slowed down because I don’t want it to end yet even though I’ve spoiled myself by reading what happens in the last 3 episodes hahaha!!! Huhuhu, this Kdrama is amaaaazing!

p.s. I ate Korean ramen again at OMOnok while watching hihi ❤

2017 Project 365, Day 208: Mogu Tree Pesto Broth

Photo #208: July 27

Finally got to eat at Mogu Tree Noodle House again after more than a year! I used to eat here once a week before Mandi’s came along. ^^ Glad to know that they added 2 kinds of broth: pesto and shoyu! For today, I chose pesto with a tea-infused egg, seafood bun, mushroom & mozzarella balls, shrimp sakura, and oyster mushrooms. I happily slurped away, and when I was almost done, I learned that they also mixed in some peanuts. YUMMERS!!! Perfect for the rainy season! ❤
