2019 Project 365, Day 327: Back to Work

Photo #327: November 23

Started working again today even though my PLDT connection hasn’t been restored; according to my sister, we’ve had no signal since Monday. I survived 3.5 hours’ worth of demo lessons and 17 actual lessons by using my Smart Bro LTE pocket Wi-Fi! I already purchased add-ons, but I hope that PLDT can sort things out ASAP. Anyway, in other news, my demo lesson partners earlier were amused with Skype’s blur background feature. They actually thought I used a separate application for it, hehe.

*ngingiti-ngiti, pero deep inside, gigil na sa PLDT hahahuhu

2019 Project 365, Day 277: Cheers to Handsome Students!

Photo #277: October 4

Me, normal, steady voice: Hello! My name is KC, and I’ll be your teacher today!
Student, in a car: Hi, KC! I’m with my friend, he’s driving! *shows his friend*
HANDSOME friend: Hello!
Me, switches to a pa-cute, slightly high-pitched tone: Hajimemashite! Konnichiwa!
Friend: Ahh Nihongo jōzu ne!
Me, kilig: Arigatou! *bows*

We continued talking until they reached the friend’s house. I learned that cutie pie-san is an orthopedist, but he also has a YouTube channel meant to help people gain confidence. He uses a mask in his videos, though… Anyway, we ended the class with a hearty “kan(m)pai”! 🍺😁

2019 Project 365, Day 243: 700 RareJob Lessons

Photo #243: August 31

“If you compete with yourself, you always win by becoming better.” 🤩

700 slots + 20.5 hours’ worth of demo lessons 💪 #WeAreRareJob

After constant motivation from some tutor friends, I finally did it! My previous record was 634 slots plus 17 DLs in April last year. Will I do this again? Probably, but not anytime soon. The UAAP basketball season is just around the corner, so I expect to have a few more rest days in September. 😊🏀

Photo #108: April 18

“I am part of the 1% of students who did not receive a video lesson from Tutor Case.C.” 😂😅 ahaha there was probably a connection problem; I conduct video lessons as much as possible.

Nervous. 🙃 Excited. 🤩 Thankful.😊 It feels like a thousand-piece puzzle is nearly done, and it’s just so… surreal.

I have almost finished packing, but I will still teach tonight, plus there’s something I need to study for the program. Good luck to us!!! #RAP2018

Panel interview question: How would you describe RareJob to someone who has no idea what it is?
