I became a RareJob Philippines, Inc. tutor in September 2014, and after 3 months, I started teaching full time. Since then, on average, I gain 1000+ student bookmarks annually. Target achieved! 💚🙏🥰 #WeAreRareJob

Started working again today even though my PLDT connection hasn’t been restored; according to my sister, we’ve had no signal since Monday. I survived 3.5 hours’ worth of demo lessons and 17 actual lessons by using my Smart Bro LTE pocket Wi-Fi! I already purchased add-ons, but I hope that PLDT can sort things out ASAP. Anyway, in other news, my demo lesson partners earlier were amused with Skype’s blur background feature. They actually thought I used a separate application for it, hehe.
*ngingiti-ngiti, pero deep inside, gigil na sa PLDT hahahuhu

Took a break from teaching for a reunion with our #RAP2018 team! We could never thank RareJob enough for such a wonderful experience in Japan last year, especially because of the RJ peeps who prepared and documented everything before, during, and after the trip: Aids, Law, Leo, Ronnie, Ian, Jeris, Poch, etc. Love you, BEST TEAM EVER! #WeAreRareJob #RareJobAmbassadorProgram #ForeverGrateful

Me, normal, steady voice: Hello! My name is KC, and I’ll be your teacher today!
Student, in a car: Hi, KC! I’m with my friend, he’s driving! *shows his friend*
HANDSOME friend: Hello!
Me, switches to a pa-cute, slightly high-pitched tone: Hajimemashite! Konnichiwa!
Friend: Ahh Nihongo jōzu ne!
Me, kilig: Arigatou! *bows*
We continued talking until they reached the friend’s house. I learned that cutie pie-san is an orthopedist, but he also has a YouTube channel meant to help people gain confidence. He uses a mask in his videos, though… Anyway, we ended the class with a hearty “kan(m)pai”! 🍺😁
