2018 Project 365, Day 97: Longsilog

Photo #97: April 7

Was surprised that my sister is here for the weekend, which means, I have real food at home! Well, she did not cook these, but at least I have someone who can go out and buy food. Busy incentive-filled weekend!!!

2018 Project 365, Day 34: Welcome Home Food

Photo #34: February 3

After days of eating Chinese/Taiwanese food, it’s great to have some Filipino dishes again! Aside from this spread, I came home to my sister’s pork sinigang, which is my absolute favorite Filipino viand!!! ❤

Our fuel for today: fried chicken, kale with garlic, pork asado, and Yang Chow fried rice from Hap Chan! Burned what we ate by shopping and going around Ayala Malls Marikina!

2017 Project 365, Day 354: Hainan Chicken Rice

Photo #354: December 20

Chanced upon Hainan Chicken Rice on Instagram a few weeks back, and I’m so glad I tried this! The rice alone is heaven sent! Even without the three sauces (chili, garlic ginger, soy glaze), everything is absolutely delicious! Follow them on Instagram, and make sure to get post notifications as they’re only available every few weeks or so!

Tried Yellow Lantern Cafe along Lilac St., and maaaaan, our orders were filling and quite delectable! On the table: crispy binagoongan and “umaapaw in paellera.” Delicious and worth the prices!!! Definitely going back with my besties!!! ❤
