2018 Project 365, Day 343: Ooma

Photo #343: December 9

Appeciation post for Ooma‘s food as every bite felt like a party in our mouths! On the table: salmon tataki, uni udon, and kimchi, beef, & octopus aburi bowl. Oishii!

2018 Project 365, Day 303: Shakey’s Smoked Salmon Pizza

Photo #303: October 30

Tried Shakey’s Philippines‘ newest pizza flavor: smoked salmon. It’s good, but since the salmon is salty, I recommend going for the hand-tossed variant instead of their thin crust. IMO, the capers are unnecessary, but the lemon’s a nice touch, plus the cream cheese and mozzarella! Will I order this again? Probably, but with a thicker crust.  #LetsShakeys

2018 Project 365, Day 114: Canned Goods

Photo #114: April 24

I like the last week of the month because it’s usually the time when I can do some house chores. Today, I was able to clean and organize one of our cupboards! Thanks to my folks for a lot of the canned goods! 😀

2017 Project 365, Day 103: Salmon Pasta

Photo #103: April 13

I was given some salmon belly strips by my adoptive family, and I figured that if I simply fry them, I’ll end up eating them in only a day. Hence, I searched for “salmon pasta” and voilà! I now have food for a few days!  In case you’re interested to know, this has garlic, basil leaves, lemon juice & zest, and olives – should be capers, but Puregold didn’t have any. Dig in! 🙂

2017 Project 365, Day 64: Seafood Feast!

Photo #64: March 5

Ended a 13-hour work day with a seafood feast, thanks once again to my ever thoughtful Mandi’s Grill Grub family! And I’m glad to have shared these with two of my closest foodie friends, Rich and Mickey!!! :-*

2016 Project 365, Day 260: Prime Sushi – Kanzen Sushi Roll

Photo #260: September 16

Thank you so much to Kanzen Sushi Roll for giving me a taste of their prime sushi variants: dynamite, Spam wasabi, California maki, cheesy kani, and panko salmon bonito. The latter three are what I like the most, particularly the panko salmon bonito! Oishii! Itadakimasu! 😀

2015 Project 365, Day 141: Shippam’s Salmon Spread + Balai Pandesal’s Bonete

Photo #141: May 21

Tiny food sometimes packs the most flavor, and the same can be said for Shippam’s salmon spread & Balai Pandesal’s bonete. I bought the former at Landmark Trinoma, and I was really surprised that it’s quite good! It’s like super finely ground salmon flesh that’s then put together again, creating a “meaty” spread. Heck, it tastes much better than canned salmon! On the other hand, the bonete pandesal is a treat from Marc, and even without any kind of spread, it does taste great! Needless to say, these two make a great gastronomic pair! 😀
