2017 Project 365, Day 165: Mandi’s Kitchen Experiments

So I was supposed to work for at least 14 hours today, but I am helpless whenever Mandi’s Grill Grub kitchen experiments beckon me. Aside from chili shrimps, I had a taste of grilled siomai and imbao soup. Definitely worth missing a few hours of teaching!!!

2017 Project 365, Day 56: Shrimps and Mushrooms!

Mandi’s Grill Grub really knows my weakness! No matter how busy I am with work, I will find time for SHRIMPS! These are bathed in hoisin sauce and lots of chopped chili, along with three kinds of mushrooms (shitake, black fungus, and another). Aaaaand the garlic rice that came with it? Ahhh divine! A perfect meal on this 13-hour work day!

A seafood monster was spotted earlier at Mandi’s Grill Grub. It voraciously devoured fish sarciado, giant freshwater shrimps (ulang), and spicy blue crab. It wasn’t afraid to get its hands dirty…

p.s. the monster’s fictional, but the food’s real! Catch them while you can!!!

2016 Project 365, Day 168: Thai Platters Bagoong Rice Delivery

Someone’s eating happily today! These solo servings of Thai bagoong rice were sent by Thai Platters Bagoong Rice Delivery! Many thanks! :-* I was surprised to know that each one costs only a hundred bucks! Every serving has generous amounts of pork adobo, sun-dried shrimps, chopped scallions, shredded green mango & eggs, and of course, bagoong rice! They also come in various platter sizes – the biggest is called a feast, which could serve 20-24 people – perfect for potlucks! You may reach them through their FB page or call/text them at 0942-779-4378. Currently, they deliver for free within Marikina only. 🙂
