I really love the last week of a month because it’s when I can do some cooking! I wanted this to be more like shabu-shabu, but it ended up like noodles with a bit of soup in it. =p It still tastes good, though, as I didn’t scrimp on the ingredients. However, in the future, I’ll make sure to use a bigger pot so I could have more soup. 😀

One of the new items on Mandi’s Grill Grub menu is camto tendon noodles, and my sister & I absolutely enjoyed it!!! I actually tried their camto soup with rice last week, but I prefer the one with noodles because the soup’s creamier! Perfect for the rainy season! ❤

I’ve been feeling unwell since before 1 pm. A lot of friends, including a doctor, said it’s a case of food poisoning. Thank you for all the advice, guys! I would also like to thank my very thoughtful Mandi’s Grill Grub family for making some nilagang ribs for me, huhuhu I feel so loved!!! And of course, thank you to my personal nurse, Leo, for getting all the stuff I need just so I could hopefully be well by tomorrow. I plan to teach while sitting; I feel so tired, but at least the fever has subsided, while the puking has stopped.

My food for the first few days of December: haphazardly cooked hot pot with lobster balls, vermicelli noodles, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, and lots of black pepper! It’s okay tasting, but not as yummy as my first hot pot. This one lacks a binding ingredient that would make all the flavors work together. I rectified it a bit by adding some homemade chili oil from an aunt. Yummers! 😀

Made my own hot pot! I haphazardly just put everything into a casserole: water, 2 beef broth cubes, beef balls, mushrooms, spaghetti (I didn’t have any thin noodles), some oil & salt, a lot of black pepper, and plenty of cheese! Done in around 20 minutes! Yummmmmehhhhh! I should do this more often!!! Planning to use mozzarella cheese next time!
