2020 Project 366, Day 364: Sausage Puttanesca

First time to use sausage instead of tuna/anchovies for puttanesca. Also used whole but pitted black olives instead of chopped ones, and I like them! I have sustenance until the year ends na! 😂 Unfortunately, I will also be alone on New Year’s Eve/day, so I dunno if I’ll have energy to cook pa. 😅 Anyway, dig in! 🤤

2020 Project 366, Day 358: Welcome Back, Mandi’s!

When Mandi’s Grill Grub closed last year, fellow patrons and I were heartbroken. It was a place where we shared good food and stories with our loved ones. I was there so often that people thought I co-owned the place haha! 😅 It was a tradition for me and my sister to have Christmas Eve lunch there for many years…it was like our second home! ❤️ Glad that they’re somehow back in our lives, bringing happiness to our tummies and hearts! Thank you po, Tito Joy, Tita Lia, and Mandi! Sobrang na miss po namin kayo at ang food niyo! 🤤

On the table: crispy baby back ribs with Béchamel sauce. This dish is dear to me because I helped in perfecting the recipe. 🥰

2020 Project 366, Day 355: More From Festa Surpresa Foods

Couldn’t wait to try Festa Surpresa Foods ‘ other products, so here’s my sustenance for today: delightfully meaty kikiam and pork-shitake siomai! These are perfectly paired with the accompanying chili oil and vinegar – I combined both, and it was divine! 🤤 Every piece is substantial and siksik! Super sulit! 👌 So glad I got extra packs of each, pandagdag sa holiday food kahit dalawa lang kami ng sister ko ang kakain! 😅

p.s. they are Antipolo-based, so yey for us from the north/east side of the metro! ✨

2020 Project 366, Day 354: Festa Surpresa Foods Chinese Ham

Christmas came a few days early! Thanks to Festa Surpresa Foods for this beautiful, fragrant, and delicious Chinese ham! 👌 Wala na, di na aabot ito sa Noche Buena! 😅 The sauce is in a separate pack, so you can add it before heating and serving the ham. May pa-glazed effect when you do that, plus a good balance of salty-sweet flavors! ✨p.s. Festa Surpresa also offers kikiam and pork shitake siomai! Excited to try them! 🤤

2020 Project 366, Day 343: Da Hangry Chef

Believe it or not, I used Grab Food for the first time today! Ahhh so convenient!!! Anyway, since I was already starving, I tried a nearby resto, and I wasn’t disappointed. Marikina peeps, this is from Da Hangry Chef, located along Bayan-Bayanan Avenue. Their bacon cheese bombs are also, well, the bomb! 🤤
