2017 Project 365, Day 141: Crazy Chicken

My final feast this lazy weekend. Tomorrow, it’ll just be tea and coffee. :p

2017 Project 365, Day 113: El Heneral Ribs & Wings Co.

Photo #113: April 23

Realized that it’s the 23rd while looking for somewhere to have lunch. Ended up at El Heneral Ribs & Wings Co. along Gil Fernando Avenue. Too bad they only had one order of wings left! I wanted to try at least 2 variants. Anyway, we had their Bravo garlic lime parmesan, and bravo for its yumminess! Surprisingly, we also liked the sisig carbonara pasta, while the fries had generous amounts of cheese and bacon. Unfortunately, their barbecue ribs were too sweet, but the grilled corn that came with it was superb! Overall, I’d still want to go back and try their other wing flavors. Happy 81st, dear! 🙂

2017 Project 365, Day 103: Salmon Pasta

Photo #103: April 13

I was given some salmon belly strips by my adoptive family, and I figured that if I simply fry them, I’ll end up eating them in only a day. Hence, I searched for “salmon pasta” and voilà! I now have food for a few days!  In case you’re interested to know, this has garlic, basil leaves, lemon juice & zest, and olives – should be capers, but Puregold didn’t have any. Dig in! 🙂

2016 Project 365, Day 286: Mushroom Harvesting

Photo #286: September 12

I harvested my Pot Hed Inc gourmet mushrooms today! Decided to use them for this haphazardly prepared garlic-tuna pasta. I only had a little over an hour to cook before my last batch of classes – 30 minutes of which, I spent on peeling/chopping garlic (I used a lot, like A LOT hehe). Anyway, the mushrooms taste great! They have this pleasantly spongy-chewy texture, and though they look thin, they’re actually quite substantial. Will be prepping my kits for another batch of yummy mushrooms! (You can grow up to 4 batches in just one kit!)
