My sustenance for a few days: herbed chicken linguine! Thanks to my adoptive father for the chicken! So many fragrant flavors in this dish! However, I feel so tired hahaha! Cooking is satisfying, but it’s something I wouldn’t do every day.
p.s. in case you’re interested, this pasta has onion, garlic, mushrooms, tomatoes, dried basil, chili flakes, black pepper, and salt.

Found time to do some cooking! I used Herb’s N Spice‘s tuyo flakes, given to me by Ritche! I added lots of garlic, lemon juice & zest, and some chili flakes for added heat. It’s salty, so next time, I’ll add more pasta hehe 😀

Ordered another batch of roasted bell pepper pesto from RSVP DINNERS, and this time, I used it on pasta. IT’S SO GOOD HUHU!!! I can’t wait for my besties to try this!!! ❤

During my last trip to the supermarket, I received a “birthday pack” – spaghetti and Filipino style sauce. Since I will be eating out this weekend and next week, I decided to cook them even though I dislike sweet spaghetti sauce (save for Jollibee’s lol). However, I didn’t have any hotdogs, so I used Spam (less sodium). To neutralize the sweetness, I also mixed in capers, dried basil, and black pepper. The result is not bad, but I will definitely not repeat this recipe. =p

My final feast this lazy weekend. Tomorrow, it’ll just be tea and coffee. :p

Realized that it’s the 23rd while looking for somewhere to have lunch. Ended up at El Heneral Ribs & Wings Co. along Gil Fernando Avenue. Too bad they only had one order of wings left! I wanted to try at least 2 variants. Anyway, we had their Bravo garlic lime parmesan, and bravo for its yumminess! Surprisingly, we also liked the sisig carbonara pasta, while the fries had generous amounts of cheese and bacon. Unfortunately, their barbecue ribs were too sweet, but the grilled corn that came with it was superb! Overall, I’d still want to go back and try their other wing flavors. Happy 81st, dear! 🙂

I was given some salmon belly strips by my adoptive family, and I figured that if I simply fry them, I’ll end up eating them in only a day. Hence, I searched for “salmon pasta” and voilà! I now have food for a few days! In case you’re interested to know, this has garlic, basil leaves, lemon juice & zest, and olives – should be capers, but Puregold didn’t have any. Dig in! 🙂
